Art Week

During Art Week, we used wire to make our own wire sculptures based on the artist Alexander Calder. We created an individual piece of art, which we then put together to create a whole piece, including space, under the sea and woodland. 

Feel Good Week

During Feel Good Week, we were given the opportunity to try out some new things, and try and find something that makes us feel good!
On Monday, we took part in an urban dance stomp workshop, where we used our bodies to create different rhythms and learnt how to perform. At the end of the session, we performed our routines to the rest of the school.

On Tuesday, we took part in a skateboard workshop where we were given the chance to learn some new skills on a skateboard.

On Wednesday, we attended an indoor athletics event at Astley Cooper School and took part in many different athletics events. 

On Thursday we went outside and collected some natural materials so that we could make our very own hanging mobiles using recycled and natural materials.

On Friday, we went with out Reception buddies to forest school and they showed us all the different activties that they do in forest school.
