Our PE day is Friday, please send the children in to school in their PE kit and trainers.
Please send your child's reading record and book in with them each day as we would also like to read with them at school.
Reading books will be changed on Tuesday and Thursday.
In Science week we have been learning about weather and seasonal changes. We measured the weather each day of the week gathering data about the weather, temperature, wind direction and rainfall. We then put our data into a graph.
We also carried out a forensic science investigation into who stole our Easter chocolates. We tested blood, carried out ink chromatography, fingerprint and footprint analysis, looked at GPS information and also analysed fur and hair under a microscope.
Lastly we used various materials to build the tallest tower we could.

History Week - Then and Now
During History week we learnt about the past and how things used to be for the children that came before us.
We looked at now, 50 years ago, 100 years ago and the Victorian era:
We also cooked Rice Pudding - a popular dessert from the past and ate it with jam and syrup. We played a different playground game form the past each day.
