WELCOME FROM THE HEADTEACHER 

It is with great pleasure I invite you to take a look around our website and get a taste of what it means to be a pupil at George Street Primary.

George Street is a happy and nurturing one-form primary school for children between the ages of three and eleven years, situated in the heart of the Old Town of Hemel Hempstead. 

We pride ourselves on delivering a rich and broad curriculum which we are continuously developing; centred on the needs of our children and driven by our vision, ‘Where learning comes alive’. Our aim is to ignite curiosity and passion and to develop resilience - qualities needed for life-long learning. 

We offer a breakfast club from 7.40am and after school provision until 6.00pm, helping families access high quality wrap around care. 

At this time, our Nursery class admissions for September 2024 is open and if you would like to come and have a look around our school, please do call the office to book an appointment.   For all other in-year admissions, I strongly recommend you phone the office (01442 255638) to make an appointment to view our school and meet with me to have a chat about what life at George Street is all about.
